I love making bowtie pasta salad with Italian dressing, chopped green peppers, halved cherry tomatoes, pepperoni and McCormick's salad supreme seasoning. It's easy, quick and delicious!

I always bring pasta salad to pot lucks. I like to do that because I use Italian dressing on it so it doesn't get weird if it sets out like some salads with mayo or miracle whip might.

You could make a plate of sushi

I just threw bow tie noodles (dyed green), broccoli, butter and Parmesan..... if it's not good then whatever. I'm over it. Lol ?

My mom has a potluck tomorrow. She bought strawberries and pound cake. Cut the pound cake into small cubes, then put on a skewer with a strawberry, and gave whipped cream to dip!

I agree @jess. It is nothing like store bought potato salad. I think I'm going to just make it. They aren't the only ones eating so they can try if they want.

Potato salad goes great with those other foods, imo. Since you're familiar with making it, and you know it's always a hit at other places, just go for it. I've been to a ton of work potlucks in my day and ever have I heard anyone be bratty enough to make negative comments when someone says what they're bringing. Pretty rude of your coworkers!

I luv potato salad. I'd still bring it. Pasta salad, deviled eggs or desert.

Deviled eggs

Taco dip (cream cheese and sour cream mixed with taco seasoning, top with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, etc) served with tortilla chips

Put black beans, frozen corn, and canned Rotel tomatoes in a crock pot, serve with tortilla chips

Veggie tray with hummus and olives

I would have said potato salad because I love that lol but that clearly a no-go.

You could go the dessert route with cupcakes or cookies but if you want to go more savoury pinwheel sandwiches are fairly easy but I also saw on Pinterest like these macaroni and cheese "cupcakes" that looked really cute.

You could check Pinterest for more ideas with recipes included :)

Personally, I prefer more handheld, bite sized appetizer dishes that are easy to eat and mess free but that's just me :)
