Has anyone taken their baby to the chiropractors for colic? If so did it work and how often/many times did they need to go?
Your son sounds exactly how mine was. I breastfed him damn near every hour, and he never has accepted a pacifer. I was a human pacifer! Only way to stop the crying was putting him on my chest even if it was just to comfort nurse. Once he finally accepted a bottle at 6m we put him strickly on soy based formula for about 1-2m, showed MAJOR improvement!!!! He's since been on the orange can, sensitive formula and he's a whole new kid. The first 6m was complete hell for us. Slept on our chest and everything, and only slept 1-3h at a time. sheesh...Good luck mama, just remember during the hard moments, IT DOES PASS!
@harleyquinn11012 just breastfed, I didn't know it was uncommon with that! But he has had so many medical problems (I had a terrible labor and delivery, and he has had strokes, seizures, etc.) That I'm hoping one of those didn't effect his mood.
@mrs.sims maybe he just wants the security of the Brest or bottle Logan would hold his bottle like a teddy bear and he still does
@mrs.sims do you pump or Brest because colic with breastfed isn't common possible but rare
@harleyquinn11012 he's always been like this though. And he's breastfed and eats till he's full and usually eats every hour or two (he eats a lot. But like I said he doesn't cry like he's in pain. And nothing specific makes him cry. He just cannot stay happy for more than 20 at the most.
@mrs.sims crying all the time could be teething and so on maybe he's just hungry, the pediatrician always told me to cut him off a bottle at 2pz every 2hrs when he was that young so I decided to just let him eat one day when I didn't want to put up with the screaming I thought it was colic all along instead he was just hungry
@harleyquinn11012 thank you I will give it a try! Should I try this even if he doesn't act in pain? He just cries all the time but not a painful scream.. If that makes since
They will wine from being restrained but a firm pressure for 5 seconds no more than 10 will release gas and constipation in most infants
@boymamax2 thank you, I understand about the human pacifier lol! But my baby gets so mad he won't even eat and then will cry till he's so weak that he cant even really open his mouth to eat. We have to wait till he gets a little energy back before I can put him on the breast. Was your baby lactose intolerant then? I'll do anything to keep breastfeeding. Unless I physically can't I refuse to any other way. He's too sick of a baby to not get everything I can give him. However, he's an amazing sleeper. 6-9.5 hours at night. Glad to cause being sleep deprived through all this would be unbearable
