Has anyone else had an over all just unhappy baby? I know he's young (4 months on the 1st) but he never stays happy. He has a very bad temper. He was on renitidine for acid reflux but I don't think it ever helped with his spitting up, so I stopped it a few days ago and there is no difference. He isn't in pain, can have a clean diaper, full belly, and being cuddled and still be extremely mad. And his cry is very over whelming and exaggerated (it always has been). Even the drs was like "wow he takes do long to calm down" and "he's so hard to calm down". Any suggestions or experiences that helped anyone else?
Yeah that's definitely a good step! I bf my second, and he's the same way. We got to 4 months ebf and now he's on alimentum formula which is hypoallergenic
@korahleah_11 maybe I'll see if cutting out dairy from my diet helps him
They did allergy test, but lactose and allergies are two different things. So it didn't really give us a yes or no. So we tried soy formula. He was a whole new baby in less then a week!
@korahleah_11 did they do an allergy test or did you just figure it out yourself?
My son had colic. There's no specific thing to it. They just cry! Sometimes all day. Sometimes at a certain time everyday. My son was lactose. That's what was causing his problems
@korahleah_11 I read he has to cry for 3 hours 3 days a week for 3 weeks to be colic. His pedi also said he wasn't, but he's also not the best pedi anyway. But it's not a nonstop cry he's just extremely grumpy all the time lol
@beebaby it may be his reflux, in going to change pediatricians and ask them but he doesn't cry like he's hurt he just cries. What do you mean slow feedings down? He breastfeeds so o just let he eat till he's full and I nurse on demand.
@sk216 yeah I'm wondering if maybe he needs a different dose or a different medicine all together, he also really loves outside:)
My son had a dairy allergy, once we cut that he was a totally new baby
Maybe he has colic. My 5 year old had acid reflux as a baby and her doctor said that normally kids with acid reflux have colic also. And she was an extremely difficult baby. It did get better as she began to eat solids.
Honestly, i feel like my daughter was the same way. She was a very high maintenance baby. She also had bad reflux and they put her on medicine for it but it didnt do much for her so we stopped. The only thing that would calm her down is music or being outside. I know its tough but try to hang in there. Itll get a little easier once he can sit up and play with a toy to entertain himself. My daughter has definitely gotten better as shes gotten older. Just try different things to distract him and talk to his doctor again if that medicine doesnt help at all
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
@beebaby oh I understand and yes I do, he spits up or fuses if I don't
