As long as u at least wipe them down, u should be ok. They're still just on practice toothpaste at this age, anyway

He will "brush" his teeth when I give him his toothbrush but he won't let me actually brush them so I was just worried about them not getting brushed all the way . @kambam, but I think I'll start the rag thing like you do

We just got a toothbrush for him from the dentist. It's Oral-B I think, and is for 4-24 month olds. Has Winnie the Pooh on it. The one we had before was Elmo, also for the same age range.

You can find soft practice brushes that you use with your finger or they have lots of baby toothbrushes in stores. I give my son his brush and he watches me brush my teeth everyday. Since hes too young though i just do my best to wipe his teeth with a rag or the brush
