My sons father chose drugs & his friends over my son & I. I wanna do things the right way to support & take care of my son because he wont do it so why is it so wrong to get his ass for child support?

If you can prove all that he will probably only get supervised visit in the court appointed place he will also have to do drug tests too

And another thing, since your still pregnant. If you don't put him on the BC he automatically doesn't have any rights. So you could do that too. But also if you do that then file for CS they'll request DNA.

That's good! So if you do file; he might not even show, and if he doesn't you'll go in front of a judge and then present your proof & request for full custody & no visitation. If that's what you want! Judges in Texas usually lean towards the mothers so I hope everything goes in your favor ❤️ I know it hard, and it sucks!
Honestly. Since your in Texas. I personally wouldn't file for support right now. Because if he shows up to the meeting they will try to give y'all 50/50 custody and he will get every other weekend and unless you have proof he's unfit. That's what happened with me and now I'm filing to terminate his rights.

I dont want my son around drug users in a house full of underage girls with condom wrappers & dirty dishes all over the place with drug paraphernalia laying around too. That's exactly what i saw when i went to get all my shit.
You can file and there is nothing wrong with it but if he's doing drugs, don't expect anything! Harsh, but I've been going threw the same thing. He's already 1500 behind.
You are not wrong some will always have something to say about the way you do things just ignore it
Child support is your right as a mother. People don't understand how hard it is to raise a child and work a full time job to keep a roof over our heads.
@kydensmommy, my mother has been through this & i made the choice to fill child support & take full custody because of the things he does & because of his environment but some people think im crazy for doing it!!
My husbands cousin is doing it now because her now husband got caught selling drugs out their house and she has go to have supervised visits and they have to be alone
