So ready to start building our house and get out of renting from these people. I rent from my sister inlaws dad and he won't fix anything without raising the rent. The only way we can get central ac is if he raises rent. We have a pretty good six three bedroom home and trying to cool it on two window units. We asked my sister inlaw for our other one back they have central ac and she said she will give it back tmrw we asked for it on Sunday and this week has been the hottest ever. The reason they have it is cuz their central unit went out so we let them borrow it but it's fixed now she's a real estate agent and her husband works for a sheet rock company driving a boom truck. But she told us we needed to wait till Friday so she can get them another one. So here I am sweating balls it's been 100 today and my kids are hot also. I'm so annoyed with the lack of landlord we have. We had to put flashing on our roof cuz there was a bad storm that ripped some shingles up and started leaking through one night he got mad cuz he doesn't want it looking like shit but he doesn't want to fix the problem. Seems like any time we tell him something needs fixed it's an issue. But in our lease it says he's responsible for the work on the house. We've had to have a plumber here 3 times and he didn't once offer to take rent off or repay for the work. I pay him 500 a month I've paid the house off four times now since we've lived here and yet he wants to say I'll fix this or that of you want to sign a new lease and pay more rent.

Nah this need to go up court or something. You and them babies need cool air and he neglecting his job as landlord
So we have no food in our house and no money so whatever we had I let my husband and kids eat. I'm so hungry. I haven't eaten since yesterday. I wish we weren't so behind on rent. Next week we have to pay our phone bill and the week after we have to pay rent again. I'm so sick on not being able to have food in our home.

Yea that's what I said too. He had told us three years ago we would have our front window fixed new siding and central air done by the time we was here 5 yrs we will be hitting our 4 yr in December and our front window is still broke. We moved in knowing the house had somethings that needed fixed but he said it would get done. We have had to fight to just get heat last winter cuz the heater went out. I'm just done, he isn't standing up to our state compliances anyways. I just know if I do anything or say something he will jump rent to where we can't afford it and or just kick us out. We have never been late but once paying rent and it was a 50$ late fee. If we are late a day after the due date it's 50$ and anything after is 25 a day.
