Birth control after baby: Who has an IUD or implant? What's your experience? Pros and Cons

@tamib oh and all 3 times i had it i only bled maybe 6 times forna few days and it was very light.

@tamib if your SO is a bit on the larger side he will HATE the iud and the hard plastic string that hangs out so you can make sure its in the right place will poke the ShiT out of him..and it will come out easy... When the removed mine they barly puled and it came right out...

Now for the implant i loved loved loved all 3 times i had it... If we wasnt trying to have another baby id be on it again... :)...

@mommysbabies oh wow everyone else I've talked to on this app has said they loved it and never bled so i thought i was just unlucky!

@tamib i think my sister has the IUD but she hasn't said anything about it to me...

I hated the nexplenon had it removed after three months all I did was bleed and get sick and have massive headaches

Other women have told me not to get an IUD because of things they've heard not based on their actual experience

I had the nexplanon twice. Once in high school and i loved it. I had it for 1 year that time. The only down side was i bled constantly... Like instead of bleeding one week a month i was the opposite and only didnt bleed one week a month. But I've heard of some ppl who dont beed at all while on it... The second time was after i had my daughter and i only had it for 2 weeks due to it making me extremely sick. I think after having her my body changed. And after the 2 weeks i got it removed but still bled for a month and a half after...@tamib @babymakes11

I'd be interested in hearing also. Just went in for my 2nd check up after C-section and doc was suggesting an IUD .. I'm 41 and my baby was a beautiful surprise but I'm done and don't want surgery so yes ladies what's happened with you?
