Why are so many women concerned with snapping back immediately after birth?
@babyabilene, yeh I understand that but you sound like you understand it's a process. I mean the women who are posting like weeks and even a couple months after birth complaining about their post partum body like it didn't take them 9 months to get their pregnancy body.
A lot of women can't exercise during their pregnancy because of a variety of complications that might have them on bedrest or minimal activity. I'm looking forward to being able to work out and get back to where I feel confident again, but I'm in no rush. It should be a lifestyle choice to eat healthy and exercise, not just a temporary solution.
I agree with tyrac188 I'm 2 months pp today and I still have 15lbs to go to get to pre pregnancy weight I only gained 30lbs but my confidence has took a toll but honestly for me the reason I want to bounce back is so I could look and feel healthy.. it doesn't hurt to work out and eat healthy.
@amouryaya09, I snapped back after both of mine but I wouldn't be stressing if I didn't
I took me a couple of weeks with my daughter to get to my pre pregnancy weight. Maybe its a confidence thing? Some women loose confidence while pregnant so maybe they're ready to get back into shape after they have their kids? I know i am. Obviously it wont happen over night but that doesn't mean you cant be excited about the process.
@jae, I know some women that do it. Maybe one pregnancy they bounced back. Honestly if women really want to somehow bounce back they should exercise during their pregnancy. Instead of thinking shit will happen overnight.
@beebaby, @amouryaya09, @kellynicole, celebrities aren't real people. Like, it took 9 months for your body to get that way during pregnancy, why would you think your body would be picture perfect right after giving birth? Even at 6 weeks to 3 months after?
Right! My concern is healing properly as well as my baby
