Ok so baby girls dr has put her on Zantac and gave me a bottle of enzymes to take the lactose out of the milk she tried putting her on nutramigen formula but I told her I don't want to do formula if I can prevent it but I asked her dr if she is lactose would it cause the rash she has on her bottom she said possibly but never checked it I've got diaper rash cream on it now but I know it's not from her diapers cuz I change her as soon as possible to keep her from getting rashes and infections. But it's now bleeding a little so any mommas who have lactose babies ever have this problem? My boys were reflux and lactose so they was on nutramigen. I don't drink milk or eat cheese I have cut all dairy out so I can make sure she was able to bf and I feel like it doesn't matter anyways.
@jessica.deshields, try honest. Only brand that works for my friends son
My daughter got a chemical burn from luvs once... we thought it was just a diaper rash but it kept getting worse. Took her to The doctor and she had a chemical burn that also had a fungal infection...
@beebaby, have not tried vasline I tried the eucerin diaper rash cream and that done no good so now we are using a&d to see if that works. I just feel so awful rn I wish her regular dr was in because she's nicer she's older so she gives me some tips n tricks that she used on her kids. I hate the nurse practitioner we saw and definitely will request to not have her ever again.
@ecahanes, we had changed diapers which cleared the first rash right up and so I switched back to pampers which she had a clear bum until we got up this morning and it just seems to get worse at every change.
Use cornstarch it drys it out and the rash is gone faster than using cream. I tryed everything they make but nothing work than my mom told me cornstarch and I don't use anything else
My son can't have lactose and he would get straight water diarrhea which caused a rash but never just a butt rash from it
@jessica.deshields your welcome
