My daughter will be 1y5m when baby #2 is born. (Baby is due end of February) I'm wondering how I would do handle their sleeping accommodations. Can I sleep them both in the same crib or would I have to buy a separate crib? I would probably cosleep with baby like i did with my daughter for a few months. So baby and her wouldn't actually sleep together until baby is about 4 months.
My fiancé and I live with his mom so two cribs in our room would be VERY space consuming.
Anyways. Suggestions or advice Moms I would appreciate.

If limited on space one baby can sleep in the bed with you and the other baby can sleep in the crib. That way you wouldn't have to buy two cribs and save some space 😉

They should definitely not sleep in the same crib but i suggest getting a pack and play for new baby. Smaller but works good for a crib. My son sleeps in one and he's 6 months old.

They make co sleepers you can have in the bed with you, or a bassinet would be a lot smaller than a crib but you definitely shouldn't let a 1 year old and a new born sleep together

@noahs.mommy, I totally didn't think about that. The pack and play I have for my daughter has an addition I can make as a "bed" for a newborn. Pregnancy brain. Thank you.

@mommyirene yeah you're welcome. My son has been sleeping in his since the day i brought him home and we just took stuff out as he grew. That way they have their own beds and you don't have to worry about transition from co sleeping.

You could have your daughter move into toddler bed around 17 months. We did that with our son and it's been great
