I was watching a documentary on Netflix. They featured a prison with a baby dorm where moms get to keep their babies with them. I was honestly surprised to see all of the moms opted to formula feed. I wonder if they have a choice? 🤔

They might not! Those documentaries are so sad. The women have to give birth in chains. I know theyre criminals but birth is magic 😔

@kambam The one I watched they let her take the chains off in active labor and while pushing but 20 mins later she had the chains on her again. It's so sad. I about cried watching one mother hand over her baby 24 hours after having her. She couldn't be in the baby dorm because of an assult on her record from when she was 10 years old. just sad. :(

So sad. But then again how can some pregnant women do stupid things? Dont they think about their baby..

@drewandvaehsmommy That's what I was thinking at first but at the point when the babies were born and seeing them ripped away, it hurt my heart. Mom and babies belong together. :(
