So, like I said earlier, I'm paying the kids to read. I told my SD's mom hoping she would keep it up at her house. Told her it's working well, that her daughter has already read one book. You would think she would be happy. Nope! All she did was criticize. "Oh I bet she just pretend to read" no I asked her questions about the book. "Oh I bet she won't remember it in 30mins". Wtf just be happy she's trying. This is why she doesn't try anything at your house.

@dreamermom I hate that woman. But I have to be nice. If I'm mean to her she might lash out at her kid. I won't risk that ever

@tiredmom, I know exactly what you mean... I was previously married and had 4 step kids... and let me tell you there were a few times where I literally had to walk into another room to keep from beating the life out of her! 😳😤 she was such a piece of work... thankfully she made a big enough mess and we were there to catch the kids when she fell! My youngest 2 are girls, and I was amazed at how messed up their 'reality' was... it was really hard to keep a straight face in front of them... but when they cried about situations they had been in because of her, I explained that it was not right, that their mom was still their mom, she just had a lot of flaws, probably from a bad childhood herself... and then we talked about how the situation should have been handled and if they are ever in that situation again what they need to do... it broke my heart! I'm so thankful that I had an opportunity to help them find truth

That girls mom needs her head examined! No love or support for her own kid! 🙄 it's sad to think about what kind of home life she must have had growing up... some people should need a license to have kids! 🤦♀️
