You know what with this app? So many moms on here acting all "I'm just trying to help!" Talking about "research shows..." Yea, well my kid's pediatrician pulled the "research shows" on me for months while I watched him writhe in pain and scream when he ate bc I wanted to put him on Nutramigen and "there is no conclusive evidential research that says it will work. So I don't recommend it and I'll put that in writing." I got fed up with being told "he has to grow out of it" and saw a new pediatrician IN THE SAME PRACTICE who immediately recommended Nutramigen and it has worked amazingly and he gained proper weight and stopped screaming. If I had listened to this other doctor he'd be even sicker by now. I'm so tired of people saying "research shows". Research shows that everyone has opinions and only some of them went to medical school. Research shows that not every solution works for everyone. Go ask your MIL. I bet she disagrees with how you're raising your child. Bc she did it differently. Our kids will raise theirs in ways that will make us shake our heads. Let people live. This crap exhausts me. I'm sorry to all mom's stressing bc they are scared and only tryin to do what's best. I got your back.

My daughter was eating Enfamil Gentlease when she came home from the hospital and her stomach was fine. WIC in DC only have a contract with Similac so she was switched to Similac Sensitive. WIC and my pediatrician swore up and down that my daughter's stomach would be able to Similac Sensitive. It only worked with oatmeal. I took everything they told me and threw it out the window and switched her back to Enfamil Gentlease and she hasn't had a problem since.
@nerualauren, yes!!! I work for doctors and I have seen this first hand. It's almost scary until you realize they went to school for like 100 years to know what symptoms can mean what lmao. I'm always just like "take a Tylenol!" Haha. I trust my doctors bc they are educated in sickness and medicine - but I trust my own gut over anything else. :)
A doctor once told me.. "doctors don't know everything, they're just guessers from the symptoms you describe."

I don't have a baby boy. I would like to know personally how do you moms feel about people treating there sons like girls as in taking them to nail salons and getting pampered ect.... I think it's important for ladies to remember your not raising a little boy. At the end of the day your raising a man. If I have a son I just want to raise him to be the best man he can be. I won't treat him to the same things I would my daughter and vice versa.😕
My baby was on enfamil gentlease but he was throwing up with it so they switched him to enfamil nutramigen and hes throwing up a ton more with it like alot hes been on it since 9/20 what should i do?
My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.
