Can anyone answer this? My husband and I are currently not living together. He went to live out of state for awhile. Can I get single mother help without having to file separation or anything? I'm in missouri.

Depends on income in the home. If you meet the guideline you could get food stamps and cash assistance you could always try and see what you could receive. If your still married you'll have to place him on your case unless y'all are separated.

It depends I suppose. I know that if you apply for cash assistance, they will make you put your childrens father on child support.

I don't want to file anything just yet. Just if I have to go on bed rest I will need the help. And I'm trying not to file anything between us until we figure things out a little more. Thank you ladies!
