So shy and nervous about being a mommy X2. I am 15w pregnant and my other little one is already 11m. I feel sort of embarrassed being a young mother. But, also very proud. <3
@erinflaherty818, I am 21 right now and it's hard cause all my sister's moved out of the house and got placed of their own ranging from ages 27 to 18.
Don't be embarrassed! Life in your terms! How old are you?
@kami24706
😂 thanks for the talk feel better about things
@saniyyahhasan Sometimes that's all you can do. I know how he feels, my husband is the same way, he does not feel like it's worth getting hurt over, my family was kind at times, but sometimes it just didn't feel like my little family now. I get listened too an understood. He looks out for me and our daughter always making sure we're okay.
@kami24706
Yea my hubby gets mad when I get upset over my family's opinion. My mom told him I'm just being spoiled bc I'm the baby n they have always baby me over my other siblings. My hubby told to stop talking to them about my life bc it's none of their business. I'm not married to them so their opinion don't matter. I suppose to talk to him n him to me. We should care about each other opinions about each other. So I put a little distance between them n just tell them about the important stuff mostly about my kids
@saniyyahhasan It can be very hard when people have different outlooks. A friend of mine had to avoid her family because they took her husband's side for things and he lied about them. She says the moment she left their life she was the happiest ever because they refused to listen or believe her. Sometimes it's not easy to get people to see your side and it's not always worth the extra pain they cause. I know how hard it is to not listen to families complains or comments because I value their opinions. But, I also don't appreciate them trying to run my life and I put my foot down, if all their going to do is complain then I just walk out on them, I make it clear I don't want to talk about it and just leave. They then realize to not bring it up because I will avoid fighting.
@kami24706
I like being a stay at home mom and wife. It's rewarding but can be frustrating at times but having a loving hubby makes a big difference. I also think it has alot to do with our religion too. It's encouraged for the men to provide protect n maintain his home n family n the wife to run the home. She can work but don't have to give her money to anyone but he have to give his money to her n the home. So my mom don't understand that side of our religion she always taught us to work n be independent not to depend on people. I feel like if I'm happy they should be happy n stop judging so much just be supportive.
@saniyyahhasan That's good, I know what they mean about having something to fall back in if things don't go as planned, but they also have several things you can do as a stay at home mom too online. My sister's were not very accepting to the idea about kids and my oldest said to abort them both that if I didn't I would be a terrible motjer, because I didn't do college first. It hurt a lot and I was super depressed because of it, but I love my daughter and want the absolute best for her. <3 no one said it'd be easy, but I am willing to do my best. My sister comes and sees the baby too and acts like nothing happened.
@kami24706
Yea my mom n sister are hanging on my life when I was single with just my oldest. I was working n being more independent. When I got married I became a house wife n mom so I depends on my hubby instead. They don't see or care he spoils us n really don't want for anything except another car lol. They think I'm going to be unable to take care of myself if my hubby leaves or passes away. They think I need to work n save up or work n take some load off him. We plan to start me a small business after baby is born anyway just to give me something to do. I'm excited about that.
@saniyyahhasan that's not very fair of her, it's your life. Your kids will love you more than anyone, and I can see your trying so hard as it is to be there for all of them. My mother had 6 kids and she started when she was 18, my brother is 6 now and she had him in her 40s. It's never to early or too late to have kids. It just can be tough and embarrassing when you feel your all alone, y' know? But I think your doing wonderfully and you will know what is best for you and your family. :)
@mommyirene It's interesting being a parent and I was wanting to have another, especially because my little one likes seeing other babies/ kids when we go out. So I was super excited and wanting to have another one. It's hard though cause none of my other friends are mothers.
@kami24706 You embarrassed? I'm feeling embarrassed for being pregnant with my fourth n so soon n at my age..... My mom n sister already feel away about me being a stay at home wife n mom n now pregnant with my fourth really make them feel away about me. My sister have only two my brother have none n I have 4. Think my mom was more against me have my first two bc of their dads but now I think she was really disappointed bc she think I need to be working n having a life instead of having kids n being a stay at home mom and wife. She coming around slowly but I know what she really thinks which hurts alittle. But it's worth it though...I have loving hubby n a great family n support. But now days having four kids is not popular sort of speak. Two maybe three is the normal
I feel the same exact way. I just found out I'm 5 weeks pregnant and my daughter is 9 months.
@kami24706 It's a challenge at times but you will adapt to it . At first it was to the point that I stop caring about my needs and focus on just them but knowing I need a relaxing break every now and again just to keep stress levels down and not lose it. At times they might need you at the same time or you might have to take them in the bathroom with you. I definitely don't get privacy and me time as much as I did with my first. Not 1 but 2 have needs and they looking up to you so yeah hun gotta put on that super woman cape and get to it. Once you set a schedule for them it will be much much easier. I'm just overly happy that they both sleep throughout the whole night
@mommyof2blessings. Is it crazy with two? I feel like one will wake up the other all through out the night. Thank You too.
Don't feel embarrassed,shy or nervous at all it's your choice and they are blessing from above. I got pregnant with my second when my first was 8 months .

With all this food being posted I thought this might be fun.
Organ donor
I was at the DMV today and I noticed that nobody... literally nobody said yes to being an organ donor when asked. It is really that uncommon? If you're not, what are your reasons for not being one? I am aware this is pretty taboo to talk about.

Thanks for all the ❤️ guys! I think I'm in shock! Labor story in a bit I'm being attacked with visitors lol
I’m 19 and pregnant and I don’t know anything about being pregnant and all that stuff. Someone please help.
I need to ask someone this have you literally regret having a child with someone. I love my daughter with all my heart but I really regret ever being with her dad.
@kami24706, 21 with two kids is hard, not impossible. You do you. Like, my parents got married a month after my mom turned 18. She was still in high school. She never had a college degree, my dad got two years. 43 years later, they are still very happily married and comfortable financially. You are the sum of all your choices, not just one or two. Make choices that bring you joy and liberate you and you'll be fine. :)
