
Seared Buttered Salmon
4 (6 oz) skinless salmon fillets (about 1-inch thick) Fresh or thawed.
2tbsp Coconut Aminos
Black Pepper
2 tsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves minces
1/4 cup vegetable broth
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
3 1/2 Tbsp of unsalted grass fed butter, cut into tbsp size slices
1/2 tsp organic Stevia
2 Tbsp Thai Basil
In a small saucepan melt 1 tsp butter over medium heat. Add garlic and saute until lightly golden brown, Pour in vegetable broth and lemon juice. Let sauce simmer until it has reduced by half, about 3 minutes. Stir in remaining butter, stevia and stir until mixed well. Set sauce aside.
Rub both sides of Salmon with pepper and pour Coconut Aminos over top. Heat olive oil in a (heavy) 12-inch non-stick skillet. medium-high heat.
Once oil is hot add salmon and cook 4 minutes on the first side until golden brown on bottom then flip and cook salmon on opposite side until salmon has cooked through, about 2 - 3 minutes longer.
Serve salmon (leaving oil in pan) top with butter sauce sprinkle with Thai Basil.

SLEEP TRAINING
So.. we hired a sleep consultant to try to help our baby soothe himself to sleep and we got a sleep training plan for him. It's basically putting him down in his crib, sound machine on, and letting him cry for 3 minutes before going into the room to comfort him. The plan is to repeat this until he falls asleep by himself (which I believe will take us the whole night, if we are lucky)
