Will anyone else be transitioning into being a stay at home mom this time around? This is my first baby and I have always worked up until this point. My SO and I recently decided that it would be cheaper and easier for me to stay home with our son once he's here. I'm having a hard time being home and depending on his income. Does anyone have any experiences with this?

Yes I hate relying on him to support us because we made the family together we should support together. I was putting apps in last night and he told me absolutely not. I just want to work again....

Same here! I am on my first year of being a SAHM and I am having a hard time adjusting to the lifestyle. But I am so thankful for being able to be home and watch my babies grow and accomplish all their milestones. I'm here too if you'd like to chat😍

I am still getting use to it as I am in the same boat. It really hasn't hit me quite yet because I had a decent amount of savings saved, here in a couple of months its gonna really hit. However its nice. I'm here if need someone to chat too.

Same! I worked since I was 16. I worked all the way up until the day I had him

But now I'm a stay at home mommy and I was about to go crazy until I found a hobby that's profitable. Maybe you could find something that you love doing and make a profit

It takes some adjusting but it does help save so much money in the long run. You guys just have to talk about money and how to go about it.

Adult children living at home

Adult children living at home My husband and I argue about this all the time. He says he will never put our children out and they will always have a place to live here at home. I completely disagree. My children can live at home through college if they choose to go and a short while after while they find a job and get on their feet. However, if they choose to not go to school or not have a job, there is no way they will live at home for free. I just feel like when you're an adult, it's time to act like one. I also would not let my married children live at home either. Of course there will always be exceptions like if they fall on hard times, lose their job, have health issues, etc. I also would let them stay for a while if they were in "transition", as in they are waiting for a house to be built or something.
