@shelby.espinosa91 we are very close now. He had noo clue. They were good friends in highschool, they had one last hoorah before he went in, and a couple months later she found she was pregnant, and her previous boyfriend said he would raise me. I didn't find out till I was 13 and that's when he started treating me different. I got in contact with my bio dad when I was 16 and told him i existed. He accepted it and wanted to meet immediately. I wanted to wait and get to know him better and met him when I turned 18. He never once asked for a dna test. I look EXACTLY like him and his kids and his mother. We've spent almost every day talking since. He loves in nc and I ny, but his family is here in ny. 30 minutes away

I really dont know why, but this picture made me cry. I have a lot of family in the marines. My mother didn't tell my bio dad about her pregnancy bc he went into the marines and didn't want me fatherless(in her head, that's how she thought) and she chose a man that pushes me aside from his bio kids. I always wondered how things would be different if he(bio dad) had ALWAYS been in my life instead of just since I was 16
