I don't think your trash if you use it. Yes though you are trash when you are abusing it. I hate when people get luxury shit like 5,000 worth of bs you can pay $10 for and get assistance.

America was set up on systems by abuse and the poor and billionaire alike will continue to "abuse" the system 🤷🏽‍♀️. I'm above middle class and I say that everyone in between the two categories I just referenced are just haters! Shoot I am! 🤣

I think in some cases people do abuse the system but the majority of people who use it don't but I also think when people hear about someone using the system they are quick to assume they are abusing it. My sister is on disability, she worked her as off as a single mother of 4 as a CNA and Med tech. She ended up with a permanent neck injury from said job due to constantly lifting people and she started to develop pneumonia and pleurisy that would stick around for months and her job couldn't hold onto her position any longer. She realized being able to go back to work was going to be difficult and ended up having to get the disability to support herself. She's been thinking about going back to work part-time but she can't go back into the field that she used to have. I think a lot of people don't realize that all those years that you work you're putting money into the system so that if something happens to you (an injury, laid off) all that money you've put into the system you will get back when something happens to help support yourself. It's your money so why is it a big deal that you have assistance when you put so much money into it over the years anyway. My SO has told me stories about how his mother abuse the system for years she's POS and I believe him. But again when it comes to this topic I think people are just quick to assume that everybody abuses it

No one is trash. People make good choices and bad choices but no one is trash.
