First night home✅ but I was so worried something was gunna happen to him or I wouldn't wake up to him crying. So my husband and I took shifts on staying up with little boy. Obviously I know this can't continue since my husband goes back to work Monday but how did you moms get over this fear if you had it??

@ecahanes, Thank you! Today was actually my due date lol! My friend is bringing me something that attaches to his diaper and an alarm will sound if he stops breathing. He just is so chill I've never really heard him get pissed yet so idk how loud he will be. I'm sure I will hear it soon haha

@thegermanmommy, yes our son is in the pack n play bassinet part but it's more against the wall then close to my side so that's a good idea I'll move it!! I could never let little boy lay in bed with us between my husband and I we are both pretty active in our sleep and I had that fear since I was pregnant about letting him sleep in bed with us.

@heatherbowman592, I couldn't hear him when I was sleeping but my husband was walking around with him. I hope since I got some sleep I'm not as dead to the world

Congrats on your sweet baby boy! Also it just takes time. I remember my first night with Patrick and I think I did that the first two nights then I just got more use to it and started sleeping more but trust me you will hear him. I swear I can hear my son from outside 🙄😂😂

What really helped me was having my daughter right next to me in her pack n play and I would sleep facing her. The first few nights were rough because I would constantly wake up to every sound she made. But you get used to what sounds they make when they start to wake up. I always wake up around the time the my daughter gets usually gets a bottle. When I was breastfeeding my daughter I automatically woke up every 2 hours. I tried to have her sleep in bed with me but I could never really get comfortable because I was always afraid that I would roll over onto her.
