Hey I was a couch potato before I found out I was preggo. I'd really like to exercise esp since my ob said I was overweight, do you guys have any pointers. I thought about joining planet fitness and doing like the bicycle there...

Really depends on the lake. There are manmade lakes that are about as clean as a public pool, and some that are really gross. Some nature made lakes can be pretty clean too, but it'd be a good idea to research lakes in your area. And ask your OB/GYN lile @karkster420 said. If you get the okay from them, it shouldn't be a problem 😊

I would try to avoid lake swimming because of bacteria that could cause infection but I would ask your OBGYN. They would have a better answer for you

There are so many great pregnancy workout videos on YouTube so you don't even have to leave home! They have them by trimester so it gets easier on you. Congratulations!

Do you like swimming at all? Walking through water with weights is a GREAT way to burn high calories in a shorter amount of time. Plus it's easy on the joints so you don't get sore and tired as quickly. If you're just starting out, I'd recommend that as a starting point. If you go for high intensity right off the bat while pregnant, it's not good for you or the baby. Good luck girl! You can do it!
