I'm not even sure if chicken pox parties are even a thing anymore, with vaccinations and what not. However, I know there are several parents that choose to not vaccinate their children and that's their choice. With that being said, mommies to be listen up. You may think that it is ok to be around someone that had the chicken pox bc you have had them. And normally you'd be right bc you can't contract them again. But guess what! Your unborn baby has not had the chicken pox or the vaccine and can contract it if you're near someone that is infected. My mom went through this with my little sister and we found out bc a month after she was born she developed shingles on her face. This resulted in an ulcer on her eye and she is now legally blind. Just a little FYI
