What you do is drink a very sugary drink in under 5 minutes at your appointment. Then you have to wait an hour for your body to break down the sugar and the lab doctor will draw your blood and they will test it to see how fast or slow your body breaks down sugar. Usually people that don't pass it had gestational diabetes and it goes away after pregnancy. You'll also be more likely to have a bigger baby if you have it. I just did mine about 2 weeks ago and I passed it!
