Hey guys !!! I just want to see if any other moms have had to have their children put to sleep in the OR for a dental procedure. My 3 years old has to have some dental work done and because he is scared to death of the dentist and we have tried all other options we are now having to have the dental procedure done at the OR. I'm scared to death to even have to take this route but don't want to scar my children with multiple dentist appointments. Has any other mamas out there had to have this done with their Lo's ?

Some dentists use laughing gas to calm the kids. That works

Yes it's with the anesthesia, we already tried the laughing gas and he fought it and still the dentist was not able to do anything. They said since he is being completely put under with the anesthesia it has to be done in the hospital but this whole thought just scares the crap out me.
