How do you ladies convince your SO to have another child? I want my daughter to have a sibling, but my fiancé is very adamant about only having 1. We still live with his parents, so it obviously won't be now, but I just want another child so bad. He promised we'd try as soon as we got our own place, but come to find out he just said that so I'd stop talking to him about having another child. I'm at my wits end trying to convince him to have another.

@littleonemorning, @mami1234, I think I'll ask him again in a few years after we have our own place and are more financially stable.
@bethraylene, then I would just wait. Like others have said, it's no fun having to ask. I always wanted my kids close in age too, but now with one - I'm perfectly happy waiting a couple of years. Especially because I know we aren't in a place to have another at the moment. Sometimes it's for the better.
@bethraylene talk to him and tell him he can't keep changing his mind. And ask him again if he wants another baby right now and if he says no then you just have to wait till he's ready. It's not fair if your the only one that wants another.
@littleonemorning, @lorrainev, @mami1234, I have always just wanted my kids to be close in age. At one point he told me that he'd want to wait until our daughter is 10 to try for another one. When we first started dating he said the max he wanted was 3. I would let everything go with the flow, but he always pulls out and we are going to go on birth control soon.
I wouldn't ask I just let things go with the flow . And it happened I'm pregnant with our daughter . It's no fun when you ask
Sounds like he doesn't even want to think about having more children until you guys are in a better situation and I don't blame him
I for one, don't think it's fair for one SO to try and convince the other to have another kid. That's just my opinion. With that said, who knows - since there is still time, he may change his mind. I know of a lot of people (my mother included) who had a change of heart after some time. 😊
