Venting: Now that I'm a mother of two, I realize just how necessary it is to cut people out of your life for your sanity's sake - even if they're family.
When your sibling is so unreliable that they constantly bail on plans, or are hours late, when you have your kids out where you planned to be, on time, and now we're forced to either sit in the car for an unknown amount of time until they arrive (hell no) or just pack up and go home again, it's just too much.
How many times can someone tell you "Oh yeah I'll come by your house at x time!" Or "Sure let's meet at *whenever*!" And then take 2 extra hours (or not come at all) before you just give up on them!
Because I am officially done. I can't drag the kids around all over the county in hopes that you actually want to hangout with us. And it makes me want to scream then when they do show up, and put my kids all over their snap chat acting as though they're so involved. How about no.

The most frustrating thing is I've tried so hard to keep a connection and give more chances, but as soon as I put my foot down, the rest of my immediate family will shake their heads and tell me I am overreacting.
