So remembering something my bf mom told me..just pissed me off!! Ugh after I had a c-section with my daughter..I had visitors come over her house, my bf and stayed there for 2 weeks because she wanted too. Wells's I was telling our visitors how painful it was..because lord it was..she goes on to say..girl your a chicken, I had a tummy tuck and I was opened from hip to hip. You can't handle anything.. Side note: she had at her kids natural, no epidural..and never had a c-section. How dare she compare a tummy tuck to a c-section.. their both painful but completely different, they took off xtra skin to give you a flat tummy..they did not cut you completely open through skin, fat,muscle, and uterus..my guts were in a bowl as my dr, told me in order to get to my uterus to get my baby out. And she dared compare to a Effin tummy tuck. Boils my blood!! Idk why she always tries to shrink me as a mother..I get it you had 4 kids no epidural..you've been a mother longer.. you can handle pain.. so damn what.. congratulations, I'm not trying to compete against you. I don't don't even bring it up to my bf because I'll know he'll think I'm over reacting..so I just keep quiet but I know one day she's going to say something that going to make me go off on her. Do you ladies think I'm in the right to be pissed?? Has anyone gone through this with your bf/husbands mother..and how did you deal with it.. I'm about ready to lose it, but I want to keep the peace!!

You see to every person is different and it's understandable. See you know the pain for both but she doesn't.. nor do I know the pain of a tummy tuck..she just assumed I can't handle anything..just felt like she tried to shrink me as a woman and a mother. No need to compare, or try to make herself look likes she's better in front of company. @natj32,
I have had both and my dear sorry to say a tummy tuck is the worst pain I have endured ....but don't listen to her just think about your beautiful baby 👶🏾
@tiannaramirez1, and she doesn't know what it's like, she's never had a c-section in her life. Yet she had the nerve to compare it to a tummy tuck. I try to keep calm but she always says stupid little remarks, and idk why.. or what her problem is.. but your right her opinion doesn't matter I'll just worry about my little family and ignore her comments until..I can't bite my younger anymore.
You have every right to be pissed off at the end of the day no one knows how u feeling but u thats painful to get cut open from the inside your so strong because your probably still healing dont let her get to u ppl like that try to suck all the energy out of you just keep calm at the end of the day her opinions dont mattee to much anyways as long as u and your family are good thats all that matters and she should be more sensitive cause alot of ppl could pass during c section
