TMI every time I have a contraction I feel like I have to poop or pee. Sometimes both 😩 is this Normal ??

@saniyyahhasan, I'm 39 weeks it's can't still be preterm labor can it ? I'm going to call her in the morning I'm timing them tho just to make sure before I go and they send me home.

@zrivera22 That is what I would do. Go with your gut.

@zrivera22 you timed them ? It could be you might be going into preterm labor which brings the baby down into the pelvic. I did that with my last girl my hubby was going crazy didn't know what to do I walked around till I was too tired I laid down then the next few days I still contracting but not as much I just rested. The contractions slowed in timing n intensity. Just try to relax time the contractions n take the nurse advice take Tylenol if they are irregular

@saniyyahhasan, no I called yesterday and she just said 6-8 minutes 1 minute take Tylenol for my discomfort

@saniyyahhasan, yeah idk I want to go to the hospital I'm just scared they'll send me home again and that's such a l long process still contacting tho it feels like tighten of the stomach and like sharp pain in my lower abdomen. I've had headaches today and threw up my food keep having to go pee and little to nothing comes out

@zrivera22 I'm just saying from my experience. I last labor I was in labor for more than 12 hrs but was able to walk to store n back (3 blocks) I ate a small salad took a nap pooped n peed all the while having contractions but able to talk n carry on conversations. But hubby convinced me yo go to the hospital. When I got in the door of hospital my water just burst out. I didn't real feel horrible pain till my water broke

@zrivera22 my water broke like 30 minutes to hour after I pooped n peed I didn't I that was normal when I labor but I read moms can use the bathroom like that while in labor after the fact lol

with my last my contractions were very mild compared to my first 2 births, and contractions never got closer than 5 to 6 mins apart until they broke my waters at 9cm.. I labored for 6 hours total from start to finish.. 15 mins after waters were broke.

every pregnancy and labor is different. if you feel like you are having urges to push I would go to the hospital.

@saniyyahhasan, yeah I've been in the bathroom pooping and peeing all night long I don't even know how I'm still able to go although now my pee is like dripping

I pooped while in labor at home n peed. It was I'm guessing normal my baby came out just fine.

@zrivera22, they can vary. At least that's what I was told. Mine were like 20 minutes apart and then like 2 hours later, they jumped to 5.

@camsmomma, she told me 6-8 minutes yesterday when I called her so do they need to be like 6 minutes every time or it can vary ? From 6,7,8 minutes ?

@zrivera22, call your OB. He might say they aren't close enough together yet but if you're feeling the "poop" pain, he might want you to go in anyway

@zrivera22, I kept missing mine too but I was up watching family guy so I counted how many came in one episode. That's how I knew.

@camsmomma, thank you mine I think are still weird and I keep missing them I'm trying not to.

@junemommie., pretty sure it's just your body getting ready for labor/ early labor.

It's normal to feel like you have to poop. It's your body preparing you to push. If your contractions are getting closer together get to the hospital @junemommie., @zrivera22,
