@kelanielove42717, hopefully that will work for you then. Where he was so little though I just couldn't get it or him situated right for it to work lol. Just do some testing with them. I always take things out of boxes at stores and try them for Cayson before I spend the money. I know I'm not supposed to but I always put them back the way I found it lol.

I do think aqua baby makes the life jackets that are built into the swim suit too that's another idea to look into as well

@caysonsmommy16, hmm I'll have to compare the two in person. Our river floats in the direction that the sun goes down and by the time we leave for our float the sun will be above us and then in front of us, so I would face her the opposite way. (:

Personally I don't like that style that goes around neck but I see nothing wrong with the idea of doing a floaty on the river

My experience with that canopy float is it didn't provide enough shade for my son when I used it with him in the pool. He was a month old too and it just wasn't taking the sun away enough for him to enjoy it. I had to stand it the way so he would actually be happy. The plastic ones seem to have worked better for the sun blocking purposes.

You can still buy it ! I use it backwards an my daughter is able to lay on it just gotta watch her of course lol I'm not sure if you can find vests for a little baby but you could definitely make this one work @kelanielove42717,

In fact it's sometimes too shallow and we have to get out and pull the canoe across the sand lol we needed all the rain we got just to make our river float more relaxing instead of a work out. But thank you for your, opinion and the way you worded it! Why can't more mothers be like this?! Lol

Oh yea and is just make sure it's not too windy outside because wind means a lot of waves

Try amazon they have some. Or try a sporting/outdoor store near you. Might be pricey but safety first!

I'd get an infant life vest mama. The neck float is recommended for bath and pool use. On the river kiddos should have a legit vest because of the water movement.

You'll still have a blast!

I know that sunscreen is not advised till 6 months but if it makes a difference I've been using it on my daughter since 2 months. The floater that you posted in the comment is the one that I have an it's not really good for small babies my daughter is 4 months an it's a little iffy she goes to far forward in it an can drink water but if you lay your baby back they can fit better. Also a sun hat an glasses ! Nothing wrong with going out An having fun

@jcbaby, oh definitely! That's why we got the floatie with the sun canopy and we have sunscreen that I will more than likely reapply every half hour lol

Just to hang out in? Can't see why not but this yr our river current are strong and we're advised to exercise caution with them. Not sure if you received as much rain. If youre gonna be boating I'd suggest an actual infant life vest as this shit wont protect them

@amaperalta03, it's seriously all I've been thinking about for the last two weeks since we planned it lol but of course I have friends who have told me they don't feel like it's safe and that accidents happen but honestly, accidents don't really happen that often on the river lol
