Yesterday was the scariest day of my life. I thought I was going to lose my son.
We went fishing at our friends lake & of course little man had on a life jacket, but he didn't like it.
I turned for only a moment to get a bottle of water( you know because I'm 9 months pregnant & it was blazing outside) and in that short moment of time my son took off his life jacket & fell into the lake. I'm panicking trying to get to him as fast as I can but it seemed like it took forever in my eyes. His daddy hurried and grabbed him out of the water but he had already went under. He was choking and spitting up water.
I was uncontrollably shaking and crying, I didn't want him to go near the water anymore & of course his dad kept saying he's fine but then I started thinking about dry drowning.... so yes, I've had close to zero sleep monitoring my sons breathing. He has an appointment today to ease my mind but let me tell you, that moment was the worst... to think you'd never seen your child again...

That's still scary I make my kids wear a life jacket at their grandparents pool might sound crazy but there is no way I'm going home without my babies ok. And anything can happen. @sahm2boys,
@jessica.deshields, oh my Lord 😥 that is so sad. I'm definitely praying for them. Thank God the water wasn't that high at my friends lake. It was up to my hip where he fell in (I'm only 5'0)
Thank goodness he's okay. There was a family boating at the lake near me and one of the kids fell off the boat the water was high as we have had a massive amount of storms this past week and now they can't find her my family aches for the family she's 11yrs old.
Thank you all! I hope you never have to experience that fear.. his doc says everything looks good & I'll have to look into the puddle jumpers. Hopefully he isn't scared to get in the water again..

I love the puddle jumpers for this reason. They buckle in the back so kids can't get them off and the float is in the front so they float face/belly up.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Question. I just left my husband for cheating and now hes been harassing me. Hes threatening to come get our son. I dont care if he sees his son but I'm not comfortable with him leaving with him bc hes never taken care of him a day In his life and he might use him against me. Am I wrong for feeling this way??

My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk out...
Omg glad he's okay. Me and my mom and her friend went to the beach I had a life jacket on my son but I took it off for a lol because he kept falling with it on and all of a sudden a big wave came and he fell face down in the water . I couldn't get up fast enough . Thank God my mom was there. She quickly grabbed him out the water . I was lucky he held his breath @sahm2boys
