Baby is one week old. He's been constipated & only would poop when I try the q_tip thing. ( did it yesterday & today ) But he's in a lot of pain and I'm just worried :( I already changed his milk once , and tomorrow I'm calling his doc to go in if he feels it's necessary. But I need someone to tell me it's okay for this to happen cause I cry my eyes out when I see him crying and uncomfortable. I just want him to be okay ! Also yesterday he threw up by mouth and nose w a lot of force it made me panic but thank god that hasn't happened anymore.

Oh damn so does this mean they probably won't cover enfamil enfacare either ??? 😩 I have yet to go to them for formula since I was tryna just get him on one that did good with him. @sagwaenglish,

My daughter spit up a lot through her mouth and nose at the Same time. I panicked every time. She's just growing out of it now. When you feed him make sure he's sitting up a little or the milk will go up his nasal passage and when he spits up it'll force it out his nose too. Try not to lay him flat for 30 minutes after eating, too if he continues spitting up through his nose. 😊
Babies grunt because they are getting use to their digestive system. He is pushing and making all those noises because he is learning his own body. My daughter grunts, squeals like a big, you'd think she was playing barnyard bingo! Lol 😂 They make so much noises.

I'm pretty sure alllllll babies do that grunting and pushing and it looks like they're constipated but they're really not. If his poop isn't hard little balls he's not constipated. Try not to do the q tip thing too much because he can become dependent on anal stimulation to poop and then that'll be the only way he can poop. My son did it too. Try rubbing his belly and bicycling his legs
Try that it may help, sometimes its just gas bubbles!
Gas maybe? Have you tride gas drops or gripe water
I believe He's constipated because he's screaming and crying when pushing.
