Hi everyone I am concerned based on my symptoms that happened and input from 6 different people that I had a gallbladder attack the pain subsided after about two hours but was worst thing I've ever felt and I was out of town at the time and 40miles from closest hospital so I didn't go but I have a doc appointment already scheduled for 31st how will my doctor check for gallbladder issues and what would make me need it removed ? I've googled and it says gallbladder problems can be genetic and my mom had to have the surgery while pregnant with my younger sister I'm so scared any advice ??
@aubreynicolesmommy I really appreciate you taking time to comment n give me your experience it really helped
@aubreynicolesmommy oh yes girl I have had no appetite since becoming pregnant I actually lost 10 lbs my first few months and still I can't eat like I used to and barley eat anything like small meals , and that makes me feel better I hope I don't need to and glad u didn't either !!
Omg yes that's exactly the pain I had! I would also start having Braxton hicks. The doctor told me it was because I was eating hot Cheetos and spicy food and since I would throw up a lot that the acids were acting up, I don't remember exactly what he called it but it was because I had horrible morning sickness and wouldn't eat much. The pain killers did miracles and I was scared because I didn't want to have surgery and thankfully it stopped once I had my daughter, so hopefully you might not need surgery?
@aubreynicolesmommy oh OK I understand , and it felt like my back was being compressed onto my chest and vise versa chest into back I could breathe I vomited and sweating and then starting having braxton hicks(idk if that has anything to do with it) but it subsided after about two hours and latley (since Friday night) I have just been having back pain not to bad though so maybe was just build up? And got stuck? Literally worst pain I've ever felt though
@tylerdrum94, no I didn't have surgery I took antibiotics for like 2 weeks and the doctor gave me something for the pain. If the gallbladder was to be leaking, then I got told I was going to need an emergency surgery, so that's why they did an ultrasound and checked my baby. What does your pain feel like?
@aubreynicolesmommy so you didn't have to actually have surgery you personally just took antibiotics ? And I am 35 weeks I never knew this would happen did your doc say of it could affect the baby or anything the problems with it ?
I had gallbladder issues during my pregnancy as well, worst pain EVER! I was 15 weeks pregnant and I got an ultrasound. The doctor also told me that if I was to have surgery my doctor would probably feel more comfortable in the second trimester around 23 weeks or so. I got antibiotics and had to be careful what I ate. Luckily my pain went away once I had my daughter. A friend of mine had to wait until she had her baby to have surgery, it all depends how comfortable your doctor feels for you to have surgery.
No problem girl! I know that the gallbladder pain is HORRIBLE! just rest and drink lots of water for some reason that always helped my pain☺️
