Is sensitive skin normal during pregnancy,
I think it may be my soap that's breaking me out but recently I have irritating red Rashed skin behind my knees and in the bend of my elbow and back breasts pretty much everywhere and I was wondering if it was normal to break out from soap maybe I am switching to a sensitive skin soap but I don't know if it could be something else
@embracemthrhd2 I switched to dove sensitive skin and just over night it feels 10x better I still have spots where I'm still broken out and my scalp is still so so itchy I bought dry scalp/sensitive skin shampoo and conditioner it's helped but my skin just doesn't feel like it's on fire anymore
Yeah it just sounds from the areas you are describing are where the skin folds or where moisture can build ... or maybe your not rinsing all the way... who knows.. i just sern people with the same issue and moisture was the problem... i have sensitive skin and i broke out in hives and got itchy all over so i had to switch to fragrance free.. turned out all of a sudden i was allergic to perfumes and fragrance... everybodys skin is different so i was just sharing another point of view on what it could be since its automatic to assume its the soap... like one person suggested coconut oil which is a really good product i use on my daughter's skin. But i cant use it lol it sucks 😣. Everyone skin reacts different... just make sure you ask your doctor as well.👍
Switch to sensitive skin soap and use coconut oil or almonds oil after shower it will help alot.
@jleexoxo hopefully switching to all dove sensitive skin and moisturizing stuff it helps
@embracemthrhd2 I've used the same soap since before I was pregnant and I've recently broke out this week and I just wasn't sure if it was normal. Ive never really had moisture problems in the pay at all especially with the soap I used too use I went to the store and dove sensitive skin and dove moisturizing shampoo and conditioner (my scalp is doing the same thing)
I have sensitive skin anyway but it's been worse since becoming pregnant. I started using johnsons baby soap and it helps some.
@rkrysted98 thats good 👌my skin got really dry during this last pregnancy now its back oily again... so hopefully your skin will go back to normal afterwards too.
