Ohhh okay!!! Well I'm not Mexican!! I am Cuban Colombian I don't usually eat tortillas or salsa!! We eat beans but not refried and we eat a lot more black beans than pinto.. we just eat rice and black beans with plantains and a piece of meat
@nury_rodriguez_2010, o okay we eat Mexican food here pretty often my husband is Mexican so why don't u make refried bean I don't actually refry I use a stick blender and do freezer portions ready to go they keep well I also can pinto i buy 50lb at a time. I also do homemade tortilla and hot sauce grow my own peppers just picked some yesterday and posted. Try to fill ur plate with 80% veggies and 20% potatoes or 10% meat 10% potatoes
@txyogagirl, no I do not don't know how to lol the thing with potatoes is I eat a lot of it that's my favorite food I'll eat anything with potatoes and rice well I'm Hispanic so we eat everything with rice and beans... and no I haven't ate anything processed (besides noodles and I get the veggie noodles) or fried since I started eating better... to be exact I haven't been out to eat since last month just on Mother's Day I had a steak and veggies

@nury_rodriguez_2010, do u make ur bread? Bc of u don't that's loaded with sugar which makes u gain there is nothing wrong with potatoes or rice as long as there with a balanced meal ur body actually needs them. Also I don't support fried food but it's better than food in a bag so if u have a choice to fry and egg or have a pre made breakfast sandwich well the fried egg is the better choice by far. Well if ur not eating anything processed u should be doing amazing
Right now I had changed my lifestyle... to clean eating nothing fried no chemicals basically grow or kill lifestyle... and I'm doing pretty well I have been doing it for a month but I noticed I eat A LOT of starch!! Rice (brown) and potatoes and some times breads (12 grain)
@nury_rodriguez_2010, do u plan to eat low carb for life. Dont do a fad diet make a lifestyle change. Fad diet only work temporarily then u plateau bc anytime u withhold a nutrient the body needs well eventually your body will fight for it. I have a lot of food examples on my post if u wanna check them out. If u want my advise u only need one thing food with out labels. Live by this" if u can't grow it or kill it don't eat it" if ur food has dirt great dirt won't kill u.
