So I know my body. I knew something was not quite right. Ended up going into l&d last night. I was having some contractions not close or strong enough to be in any worry. Baby is good ! Heart is nice and strong. they did catch a UTI which is the reason behind the pains I been feeling and the cramping. So I'm on anti biotics now for 7days. Anyone deal w UTI before while pregnant ? It's my first one ever.

@nani720, I did not like the idea of taking antibiotics even thought the doctor said it was fine. Especially cause I sometimes have a hard time taking bigger pills and the one time I threw it up immediately after and it was almost pointless. Especially having to take them 3 times a day I was like I don't want to hurt the baby or myself
I had a couple with my first. Not sure how I got them either.
@nani720 because I'm so prone to them while pregnant my doctor put me on antibiotics up until I deliver I've been on them for about 3 weeks now antibiotics that she's prescribed you wont hurt you or the baby or affect breastfeeding I'm on the same thing
@nani720 I was nervous too it's a good thing you caught it early because when they get bad it's super painful and can cause you to have contractions

They put me on macrobid. I just hope it clears up and I'm back to normal again. Cause taking anything other than my prenatals kind of make me anxious and nervous. @jade2017,
I just had one a month ago. Was on antibiotics for a week but then got s yeast infection from the antibiotics 😑 but after the week the Uti was gone just took a little longer for the yeast infection to go away
Yes i have had 2 or 3 since being pregnant and one i was hospitalized for. Worst pain ever. :/ they gave me nitrofuratonin or Macrobid
Yeah I don't like taking anything else other than prenatals but Ima have to deal w it. I'm sure it's safe if they prescribe it so whatever :/ just hope It goes away and doesn't cause anything else ugh @alyssa_hoffmaster,
