One of my night nurses was mean to me it was my first time in labor and my water broke when I was sitting down and my fiancé called her in she was yup that's normal get to the bed and checked me when I was having a contraction I told her wait and she said no I have to do it and was just rude to me and my fiancé

@anmarie1, I agree! Mine didn't work either. Get it early on so you can be relaxed in early labor and have enough energy to push when the time comes

And ask for the epidural sooner then later cuz once my labor got going I went from a 4 to 10 in 30 minutes and got it cuz they didn't check me till after they put it in and it didn't help at all

From the time I go induced it was about 18 hours I was induced at 7am oct 30 2015 and had her at 1:32am on the 31

Ya your stuck in the hospital till baby is born

They start with cervadil, a medicated insert kinda like a tampon. It's gotta stay in for 12 hours. After that you get one hour to shower or do whatever then they start pitocin through the IV. That's the medicine that makes your contractions really strong. Couple hours later you'll be holding your precious baby :) it's not so bad!

They kick start labor and assist labor until you're in hard labor. Its usually pretty quick
