@gabilicious, definitely, Im lucky I still have all my grandparents on both sides, only had to deal with one death in my life and that was my great grandad in 2014! @west94, thankyou so much, it really means a lot. I just feel awful, I'm 190 miles away so I can't just pop up and visit with a working partner and 1 year old child 😩 x

@jo.wilcox yeah i understand it is hard when your not just down the road. Perhaps ask if OH can book a day off so you can visit , big hugs its okay to have a cry and speak about things dont keep it all bottled up xxxx

Hope you're ok, I had this last year with my grandad (my first grandparent to pass) from diagnosis to the day he died was only 6 weeks! 😓xx

Oh how awful! May I ask what was wrong wth him? My great gran had a tumour removed a couple weeks ago, they found cancerous legions in her body and she got diagnosed with advanced stages of dementia over the weekend 😞 x

It was cancer, 2 tumours in his brain, one in a lung and one in his liver so we were told straight away it was terminal and that he wouldn't have longer than a few months but was gone in 6weeks ☹️ xx

@genieh, aww gosh, sorry to hear! It's the worst part about these things, they give you a number but really they can't say! I could get a phone call tomorrow to say she's gone or it could be 6 months you just don't know! X

I know! He went into hospice the day before he died and my brother went to visit him and basically say goodbye and when he left the nurses said that he would likely live a few more weeks but he died the early hours the next day😥 xx
