My husband bought me a flower basket and is "allowing" me to get my hair done but in no way has he made me feel special. I feel lousy so I know what u mean. He's made rude comments to me today, hasn't helped with the baby, scarfed his food down while mine still sits there waiting to be eaten, him and my son had argued all day, and he hasn't once told me happy Mother's Day. When he woke us up the morning he wanted us to clean the house. Not relax or celebrate. I've even done dishes today. Nothing special here except my children. That's enough 🙂

@tiannad426, I am 38 years old and still wait for that moment. At this point I'll take a moment if not a day. My ex at least tried sometimes but usually because he felt guilty about something he did. My husband now didn't even make a deal over our wedding. He wouldn't even look at me at all when I walked down the aisle. And didn't say one word about how I looked. He's made me feel special once when we were dating and I miss that so much.
