Does anyone have any experience getting a breast pump through their Insurance? Also curious about when you ladies introduced bottle feeding? I will still be breastfeeding but have to go back to work.
@embracemthrhd2 lol thank you! I wish the hospital gave me one😯 ill take anyone at this point
@newmommabee electronic! 😉.... but to be honest the manual i got from the hospital works faster lol
@nicoclev I applied for edgpark but they kept getting my info wrong for some reason and they were always sold out of all their pumps 😓 if it wasn't for those things I would have rather gone through them.
@embracemthrhd2 I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one lol and thank you! I'm going to go in and get one. Insurance companies are such a headache! Oh I forgot to ask is it a manual or electronic one?
I just did mine through edgepark. Only issue I had was w the insurance saying they covered the pump I wanted but they really only covered the medela one
Wic you have to do in person... and yeah she gets the bottle when i work 6am-2pm i only pump once at work... then she gets the boob the rest of the day and night.... i feed her right when i wake up and right when i get home... unless he just gave her a bottle then i pump.
@embracemthrhd2 I didn't think about going through wic. Yeah i have been jumping hoops since my third trimester. Can I apply for it online? I work from home but can't be feeding her during work hours. So it would be boob in the morning bottle for mid day and boob at night.
I went through wic caise it was loke jumping through hoops to get it through my insurance... my bf bottle feeds while im at work and on my 2 days off she has only the boob so one time he says to me, dont have her on you all noght cause then it takes her forever to take the bottle... so i guess it can be difficult at times...
I understand that!
