Siah's Great grandma passed on Sunday and since then I've been very worried about how his dad is taking it. He lost his biological mom when he was 12 and he's never been able to cope with death very well, especially seeing that his mother really didn't have a funeral, (they just cremated her and buried her ashes on top of her brother who had passed some years earlier) his birth family hasn't included him whatsoever in any arrangements for his grandma. He was living in her house and paying all of her bills right before she died and now he's getting put out because his grandmother left her house to his uncle and his uncle doesn't like him. He's been severely depressed to the point to where he's been questioning why he should continue to live. I'm very scared because I don't want my child to grow up without his dad due to suicide.....I don't know the right things to say to help him to somehow cope with death.....any suggestions?

Sometimes there is no magic words. There's no right thing to say. Sometimes all you can do is make yourself available and just try to be there for him, make it known to him that if he needs someone you're there for him. I'm sorry you're all going through this.
