He has to file to have his rights taken away unfortunately so now we just wait it out
He'll leave eventually.. he told me once I get a new boyfriend he's leaving. So I think once he sees I've finally moved on with my life he'll leave us alone for good

@kailey.gallentine, I'm sorry I just got in on the issue but I'm with u on this one if he abused u I say draw up papers for him and never see him again and at this age ur daughter won't ever remember which is good if he is crazy I would want a sweet daughter with a strong mama then a sad daughter with a 👎🏻 daddy. U can make it girl. More power to u. Let him give up his rights it's better for u and baby

@vikki655, yes! He was abusive even through my pregnancy so it's nice to not be stuck in that situation anymore. I let him see my daughter once-twice a week for visitation and only if he doesnt exhibit behaviors. Once it happens in front of my daughter that's it. I only allow him to come over if it's benefitting my daughter. But he doesn't want to support her financially so we aren't agreeing there. But only time will tell. Hopefully he sticks with his word and wants his rights terminated. Then we can completely move on with our lives and not have to worry about dealing with crazy

@vikki655 it's way less drama! And the threat of my child being taken away from me is gone if he does it! I would rather have him leave and not get a single dime from him , rather than deal with his shenanigans and get money when he feels like giving it. He thinks because we aren't together and my daughter isn't his financial responsibility so I need to figure it out and he's not comfortable giving me money because he doesn't know where it's going to🙄

@niccibissett, it's all good Mama!! I want him to leave. It's a lot easier and less drama and commotion for my daughter. And oh for sure! He doesn't have a lawyer or anything like that, could I have the paperwork all gathered for him so that way he could sign it and we could go through that process or does he have to do it

@kailey.gallentine, I'm sorry you are going through this. My sons father did this to me there's was nothing I had to do. He went through his own lawyer that filed the documents and I received them in the mail.
