It is very hard with one person working but i also have a child that has apraxia and dr's appointments are crazy i cant hold a job with 2-3 drs appointments a week

Im not sure my son starts school next year. He cant speak and it scares me i want to see how he does at public school before heading to back to work and my little girl she still has a few year. And who knows maybe one more so we still have many years. I do things at home that earn a little here and there but yes i would like ti work while kids are in school only

@lovingmom0506 are you homeschooling when they get older? Or will you be going back to work when they start school?

Not trying to be nosy, I just like learning about other people's perspective on things. Personally, I have to work bc right now we just don't have the money for one of us to stay home. But if the opportunity comes back in the future, I'd love to be at home when she's older, and maybe have another.

Not saying women shouldn't work but when kids are home i believe they should be there too. I dont believe in babysitters or daycares raising my kids

@lovingmom0506 I feel like however your family works best is how it should be done. My boyfriend's twin brother is a stay at home dad and he loves it. I understand everyone has their own beliefs, but saying women don't belong in the workplace is wrong, especially since some women can't have kids or they simply don't want them.

@mazeyy09 seriously! I love staying home with my daughter but honestly, I wanna get out and have adult conversation too. Being used as a climbing wall and watching the floogals on repeat 24/7 is not ideal for me.

@dmm1976 some people enjoy staying at home with their babies! I do too, for the most part. However, some women want an actual career on top of being a mother, and that should be okay and not looked down upon, especially since women have been working for generations now...

It's one of those "she'll see" moments. Once she pops one out I would love for her to say she feels the same!

But you can't "make" someone do something they don't want to do. And women belong wherever they feel like going lol

I got to say though...I'm much happier being a part time sahm than I was as a full time working mom. Plus my job isnt a 'career' just extra money and time out of the house. No stress. Well , almost no stress....there's still mom stuff. Lol
