Ok ladies I have been a stay at home mom for a while now. But now I work I've been working for about two weeks. I'm so overwhelmed I'm always so tired my house is always a mess even though I constantly clean. My dinners arnt as healthy as they used to be. Lately it's been frozen pizzas. My son is acting out because I'm not around. And I just need encouragement because I'm feeling like a shitty wife and mom right now.. 😓
It's an adjustment when you start working after being a SAHM. I work full time and I am a full time graduate student, mother and stepmom so I've had my fair share of adjustment periods. You shouldn't be expected to do everything on your own. It's just not realistic. Try prepping meals on weekends or off days. Leave lists of things to do for your husband and spend time with your son as often as you can when you get off. I hope this helps. Don't be too hard on yourself.
Honestly, teamwork. My boyfriend and I make sure to split responsibilities. Definitely let each other know when you need a break.
