Had my appointment today, baby is weighing 8lbs 3oz, I'm a good 3cm dilated, they swept my membrane and decided to set up an induction for my due date.. lol also don't get your membrane swept if you're already slightly crampy.. I learned the hard way 😭
@tarebear gotcha! Good luck to me today 😖
@justinx2 it's where they go and sorda like help the cervix open up and help separate the membrane from some of the tissue. It can help aid in getting labor going. It's just rather uncomfortable.
Tomorrow I have my 38 week check up Sonogram and checking for any dilation! What's a membrane swept? 😖I always hear once they check you. That's when you start to bleed and stuff
@nahla girl I had just asked about what my midwife thought and she was like sure I'll do it and then went on and I think it was probably the longest like 15 seconds of my life.. but she definitely made sure she got all up in there.. it definitely gave me a wave of nausea
My doctor just did it without consenting with me. It hurt so bad 😵 @tarebear
Had my membranes swept yesterday, lost my plus today still no stinking contractions. This baby is never coming out.
6 centimeters dilated 90% effaced and just had my membranes swept let's play a game when do you ladies think my baby girl will make her arrival😄😁😞😋😌🙆🙇
Officially have the balloon inserted it’s not as uncomfortable as having my membranes swept that’s for sure 😐
Got my membranes swept today it was uncomfortable as hell but not painful... hopefully things get to going 🤞🏽
Annnnd I lost my mucus plug. 😁 almost 24 hours exactly after I got my membranes swept.
@blessed-n-proud8 I've learned to drink like lots of water a day or two before ultrasounds and they come out super clear and pretty :)
