@sixplusones, I would double check with your doctor, but when I had looked it up, you just pee out the extra biotin your body doesn't need, so I don't think you can get "too much". But also, some people have noticed with pregnancy their hair growth slows down. So maybe to each their own?? Like if you weren't pregnant maybe prenatals would make your hair grow like crazy. Anothing thing is, my hair is super short, so maybe that's why I notice it a lot more than you do, if you have long hair! 😌
@sixplusones i hope so. :) tried to come out early once already. They gave me steriods for its lungs. So if it at least waits until the end of May at least then its lungs will be fine.
@bethany_swaney, yea true an same here when even it decides to come ill be ready but now docs are saying 10 months is considered full term two of my kids went ten months plus a few days
@sixplusones meh. The month thing not sure. I jist say im carrying the baby until its ready to pop out. Unless it becomes like life threating to me and the baby i plan on just waiting it out until the babys ready. Besides lol you cant tell the baby when its ready, the baby tells you.
@courtney.welsh, ive heard about that biotin but never used it i think ill try that after i give birth or can i take it now? An those p vitamins do nothing for me from what i see but i dont pay much attention to my length on a regular
Honestly, I use to take biotin before pregnancy to grow my hair and it really helped make it all stronger which causes less breakage so in turn makes your hair feel longer. Ever since taking prenatals, though, my hair grows about an inch a month... when on average it's suppose to grow 1/2 an inch a month. I'm not sure if there's exact science behind it, but feel like my hair is growing like a weed so no matter what something is working 🤷🏼♀️
@sixplusones to be honest never heard of the vitamins doing that until now. I knew they made vitamins specifically to help those things, but theyre not prenatals. Besides, prenatals are just like normal vitamins pretty much, and i used to take those all the time and nothing ever changed so i figured itd be the same with prenatals.
@dmgraham06 thats what im thinking. I actually dont have faster growing hair or stronger nails during this pregnancy. My bodys doing as it did before the baby.
My doctor said that a prenatal vitamin is not going to make your hair grow long and thick or make your nails stronger and grow faster. According to him it's your pregnancy hormones.
When I was pregnant with my son my hair was nice and had an awesome shine to it. This pregnancy my hair is dull and brittle. I'm taking the same exact prenatal so I think I may believe what the doctor is saying lol!
@jacesterlingsmommy, yea same here i see results with my nails but not my hair but i dont care to much although it would be nice but i jus always see ppl sayin o they help with the hair the hair the hair 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏽♀️😂😂
