Quick question: I want to involve my mum in my pregnancy and bring her along to my 12 week scan along with my partner. She's been away the rest of my pregnancy. Has anyone else ever invited anyone else to come to a scan?. Is it weird?

@winterbaby95 it's not weird, I didn't have my mum at the birth, didn't even tell her till he was here but I had mil there and my aunt who I'm more close with than my mum (not in the room tho) x
I had 4 scans during pregnancy , the main ones 12 and 20wks it was just me and my oh, had a sneaky gender scan at 17wks which I had my cousin (who I'm very close with)with me and I managed to get a growth scan at 39wks which I let mil in with me.
My mum has come before ! Its a lovely experience x
My mum came to my scans :) I didnt have her at the birth though (some people think thats weird) x
I had my mother in law for the very first one, with my OH and my mum and dad and oh for my gender! I don't think it's weird at all! And if I had a very close best friend I would've invited but I don't have anyone close enough aha!@jillandbaby, xx
I don't think it's weird. As long as you're comfortable and both want her there.
First scan is very exciting and personal. You might prefer it to be just you and your OH though.
My mum came to everyone with my partner and my best friend came to he gender ones aswell and my sister was in the room when I had baby my son :)
Has anyone else thought of this nonsense with her being weird, not having consistent information etc. as seeming a whole lot like the beginning of Glee with the fake pregnancy?!
Really hating today as I get further along in my pregnancy the more angry I get. I have become very resentful of some of my husband's chocies. Anyone else feel this way?
Anterior placenta?
I found out yesterday, at my 20 week scan, that I have an anterior placenta and won't feel my baby kick as much due to it. Not until late pregnancy. Anyone else have the same thing? If so, when did you feel your baby kick?

I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
We have invited my mum to our 20 (21) wk scan as my parents r away for the hole of sep when babys due. I don't think it's weird at all. I'm sure she will love it x
