How long after a miscarriage does your period come back?

I never got to find out how far along i had an appointment but before i got to go i ended up in the hospital for bleeding they said my hcg dropped to 5 so they wouldnt be able to see anything on a ultrasound.

It depends. My first was like a month. My second it was right away!
