Mommas i have a problem i think. So me and my kids are moving monday. To avondale which is way far from my family. My bf and i just bought a house. Did anyone have problems with their babies adjusting? We are pretty much uprooting from all that my kids have ever known. I have lived with family forever. This time its just me my kids and my bf. And tge babies love my bf. He already tells them to call him dad. Im just nervous about how my kids will react when we move. And how would i handle it. Any tips? Tia

I totally feel you! Moved with my 2 year old to another state. It was a little rough at first. But kids are really resilient and now he loves it here. My biggest advice would be to prepare them as much as possible. Talk about all the things that will happen (we'll pack our things into boxes, we'll get in a plane, we'll have a new home, etc). Talk about your new home, what it will be like, what you will do there. Show pictures if you can. Make a story out of it, tell it to them often. Just prepare them as much as possible, and then be there to validate their feelings as they make the transition. You're gonna be okay!
