Okay, I know there's plenty of stay at home mom's on this app...Has any one else been home since early pregnancy though? I quit working at around 10 weeks, by my husband's request. I had a rough first trimester tormented with nausea and horrible fatigue...but I feel like I've become so lazy and useless now. I have plenty of time to do house work and things around the house, but I'm also starting to feel like a shut in. I feel like the only times I really leave is to drop off/pick up my kindergartener, or maybe go for walks or take her to Nonnys to play with her cousin. I basically cut contact to the few friends i once had, so i dont really have any one i can call to hang out or even chat with. Then when my husband offers to take me out i usually turn it down because I am either tired or feel like I look dumpy, with no clothes that fit my now rounder body 😔. Am I alone or is there anyone else who has gone through this? Anyone who has been able to drag them selves out of a similar situation?
@mamabear93016 yup...you get it! Sometimes I feel like I'm better off with out my old friends, none of them were very good people. It just gets lonely and depressing now and then. I'm lucky to have an amazing husband who's also my best friend, but times like this it's just not enough and I wish I knew why 😒
@mandanoele89 oh my gosh you took the words right out of my mouth... I feel the same way nothing fits, I feel like I have so much to do but no time to do it so I just don't do it. I gave no friends anymore the ones I did have don't talk to me like they used to when i was pregnant now that my son is here they maybe text me once a month without me initiating the convo. I'm new mom and I gave always worked I stopped working when i was 7 month pregnant. It a sucky feeling when you don't feel pretty and when you want to get all dressed up you think we'll why should i. Not like I'm ganna go anywhere. Ugh I'm with you girl. People think being a stay at home mom is easy. It's not at all no-one comes to visit no-one calls or text. So your in a small box all day with no money to spend to go anywhere and think all day long. It's jail! But at the end of the day you wouldn't trade it for the world.
Thanks @haleybae I think deep down I know this, just wish there was a little more to me than just those things.
I stopped working at 8-10 weeks because I had horrible morning sickness and I'm just now getting another job. I am hating not helping bring money in.
I know how you feel about the day cares, I'm lucky to have a lot of family who helped with my daughter when she was younger. But she is in school all day now and so independent for 5, I feel like I'm not even needed sometimes. I'm hoping when this baby comes I'll at least feel a sense of purpose and not as useless as I feel now.
Sorry this is such a long post...but sitting here all alone again and it's really started eating at me and I needed to vent, I think.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
@mandanoele89 I understand my old friends are all drama but it's all negative drama so I don't like hearing it and unfortunately it's my older brothers ex wife and her niece that I was close to (long story) but it's all negative stuff about my brother so our friendship is base on hate. And it does get lonely my husband is also my best friend but I feel the same way were I feel like it's not enough. We had a hard time getting pregnant I had low fertility and so we tried for a long time to get pregnant so I have a hard time understanding why I'm so depressed when all I wanted was my son. And a family. I have trust issues with women also a long story and I got screwed over by my best friend of 7 years also a long story so it's hard to meet new people and I just don't know what to do so I completely understand
