I'm in the sharing mood today so here's a little bit about my journey so far. I'm 5 1/2 months PP. My pre pregnancy weight was 130lbs the day I went to deliver I weighed a whopping 193lbs!!!!!! That's 63lbs I put on during my pregnancy 😳. You can say I gave in to my cravings 😂!!! After I had my son I tried breastfeeding but only could do a month with a shield due to a number of complications before moving to exclusively pumping. I exclusively pumped for the next 3 months until my milk completely dried up a month ago. While nursing/pumping I lost about 30lbs weighing in at 163lbs. Once my milk dried up I decided to start hitting the gym full time and really committing!! (I was going to the gym while I pumped but wasn't able to really commit the way I used to hitting the gym due to being afraid of dieting affecting my supply and also over exhausting myself since pumping takes so much out of you) But since I've ended my pumping journey and now hit the gym 6 days a week I'm starting to really see the results. I go for an hour a day in the mornings while my MIL watches my son. It's so nice because I get a little bit of me time while working on...me! Lol! Losing this weight has been a real struggle and I know most would say I shouldn't be trying to achieve my pre pregnancy body so soon but I know I'll feel more comfortable and confident and just more happy with myself if I feel and look like myself. The hardest part has been to not pay attention to the scale and focus more on how I feel and how my clothes fit. It's really hard to not focus on that number when it stares back at you like damn a laser beam!!! But my clothes are starting to fit better and I do feel more energized and overall happier with myself. I currently weigh 160lbs and still have a ways to go before I reach my pre pregnancy body but I know I can do it! I want to be fit and healthy again not just for myself but for my son. I'm excited to watch my body change again, watching it grow was an experience and a journey and so is trying to shrink it back to size! I know getting in the gym or getting active again after having your baby is incredibly hard and exhausting to even think about especially for us first time moms experiencing all of this for the first time but know that's it's not impossible and that we as women are strong courageous beings who can do anything we set our minds to! Here's a pic from this morning! Starting to feel a little spark of my old self again! 😍💪🏻

You look great mama. The number on the scale def doesnt mean anything! Two people could weigh 130 and look totallyyy different. Its all about muscle vs fat 😊👏
